God Bless You Salman Sahib , You are a gem and a great Pakistani. It was your writing in the Footloose column that inspired the lazy youngster that was myself to trek to the Forest Rest House in Dagri and see that tree that is more than a 1000 years old.

And dd you find the tree still there? I have often wondered if that heroic tree survived Pakistan's collective stupidity and heartlessness. I want to trek from Nathiagali to check the tree myself. Perhaps in summer.
